Abstract: An LCD device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form an alignment film including a conductive nano particle to reduce the specific resistance of the alignment film, thereby improving the afterimage of a screen generated in driving an LCD panel for a long time. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a gate line(22), a data line(62), a pixel electrode(82), and an alignment film. The gate line is formed on a first insulating substrate and includes a gate electrode(26). The data line is formed to cross the gate line and includes source and drain electrodes. The pixel electrode is formed in a pixel area which is defined by crossing between the gate line and the data line, and is electrically connected to the drain electrode. The alignment film is formed on the pixel electrode and includes a conductive nano particle.
