Abstract: PURPOSE: An image forming system is provided to prevent special paper from colliding with an idle gear when the special paper is discharged from the image forming system. CONSTITUTION: An image forming system includes a printer main body(100) having a developing unit(110) and a fixing unit(120), a plurality of paper-discharging rollers(131,132,133), a rear cover(140), idle rollers(151,152,153), and an auxiliary guide(160). The paper-discharging rollers are sequentially arranged on a paper discharging path to discharge paper that passes through the fixing unit. The rear cover has a guide rib that guides the transfer of the paper that has passed through the fixing unit and set at the side of the printer main body. The idle rollers are movably set at the rear cover and rotates in contact with one of the paper-discharging rollers to transfer the paper. The auxiliary guide prevents the paper directly discharged to the guide rib from colliding with the idle roller when the rear cover is opened.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling drive of a fusing unit in an image forming apparatus is provided to improve initial fixing performance by rotating a fusing roller and a backup roller at more high speed within a limited time. CONSTITUTION: When an image forming apparatus is turned on, a motor is driven. Then, a fusing unit is rotated at the first rotation speed(S110). The motor is stopped when temperature of the fusing unit rises to a standby mode temperature(S120). The standby mode temperature is compared with current temperature of the fusing unit in a standby mode(S130). It is determined whether a print instruction exists or not if the standby mode temperature is lower than the current temperature thereof. If the print instruction exists, the motor is driven. Therefore, the fusing unit is rotated at the second rotation speed slower than the first rotation speed(S160).

Abstract: A heating roller and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the high pressure leakage although a high voltage is applied to a compression roller. A heat generation coil is installed at the inside of an aluminum pipe(11) processed by sand. An anodizing layer(13) is formed only on the outside surface of the aluminum pipe. Primer having no aluminum component is coated on the upper portion of the anodizing layer twice so as to form two primer layers(15).
