Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for transmitting user input to a source device from a sync device in an Wi-Fi direct communication is provided to solve the problem of inputting a command to control an AV(Audio/Video) data through a source device. CONSTITUTION: A sync device receives a user input in order to control AV data(201). The sync device creates message based on the user input(202). The sync device transmits the message to the source device through a Wi-Fi direct link(203). Therefore, a user can transmit a control command to a source device through Wi-Fi direct communication method.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for discovering a WiFi display service in a WiFi direct network are provided to minimize costs of service discovery and implementation complexity by minimizing a frame format to be exchanged and a transmitting and receiving procedure. CONSTITUTION: A WiFi direct network comprises one or more WFD(WiFi Display) devices including a first WFD device(110) and a second WFD device(120). The WFD device forms a new firmware protocol. The first WFD device and the second WFD device directly establish peer-to-peer connection each other. The first WFD device and the second WFD device perform device discovery(130) before 2 layer secure connection is established. The first WFD device and the second WFD device perform service discovery(140) each other. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A service searching method and device thereof are provided to enable devices to search a usable service in a WFD network at a stage before connecting two layers. CONSTITUTION: A frame maker(1810) generates a service discovery request frame for searching a service which supports a second WFD device of a WFD(WiFi Direct) network. The frame forwarding unit(1820) transmits a service search request frame to a second WFD device. A frame receiver(1830) receives a service probe response frame by responding to service search request frame from the second WFD device.

PURPOSE: A location-based application service packet transmission method at wireless LAN is provided to expand current TXOP at transmission station based on holding time of packet and priority in order to determine transmission of the packet and selectively transmit the packet. CONSTITUTION: A location-based application service packet transmission method at wireless LAN comprises the following steps: a transmission station determines whether a packet is expired during expansion hours of the current TXOP(Transmission Opportunity) if the packet satisfies a condition that the packet does not expired within the current TXOP but the packet is expired before obtaining the next TXOP(510,520); the transmission station expands the current TXOP(530); the transmission station transmits the packet during the expanded TXOP period(540); and the transmission station annuls the packet Ii case priority of the packet is not high(550).
