Abstract: A temperature sensor fixing apparatus and an air conditioner having the same are provided to enhance installation efficiency of a temperature sensor by easily installing the temperature sensor at a refrigerant pipe even in a narrow space. A temperature sensor fixing apparatus includes a sensor holder(30) and a fixing member(50). The sensor holder receives a temperature sensor. The fixing member is inserted into the sensor to fix the temperature sensor at the sensor holder. The fixing member includes a first locking part(60), a press part(70), and a second locking part(80). The first locking part prevents the fixing member from being separated from the sensor holder. The press part presses the temperature sensor against the sensor holder. The second locking part is elastically deformed when being inserted into the sensor holder and restored after passing through the sensor holder so as to prevent the fixing member from being separated from the sensor holder.

Abstract: 흡입구를 통해 흡입된 공기가 증발기의 하단을 통해 누설되는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 개선된 공기조화기의 드레인 패널이 개시되어 있다. 개시된 드레인 패널은, 외부로부터 유입된 흡입공기가 증발기 표면에 닿으면서 응축되어 흘러내린 응축수를 담수하기 위한 몸체와, 몸체에 담수된 응축수가 배수될 수 있도록 배수관을 구비하고, 몸체 내부 일측으로 증발기의 하단부를 지지하기 위한 증발기 지지부가 형성된다. 또한, 몸체 내부에는 격벽이 형성되어 증발기 지지부를 포함하는 영역인 담수부와, 배수관을 포함하는 영역인 배수부로 몸체 내부를 분리한다. 격벽은 담수부에 유입된 응축수가 배수부에 넘치도록 소정높이로 형성된다. 담수부는 저면으로 배수관과 연통되는 보조배수관을 가질 수 있으며, 증발기 표면으로부터 응축수가 담수부에 유입되는 속도보다 배수속도가 느리도록 형성한다. 이를 통해 공기조화기의 동작에 따른 응축수가 발생하면 패널의 담수부에 증발기 하단이 침수되어 증발기 하단과 패널사이로 흐르는 흡입공기를 차단할 수 있게 되어 열교환 효율이 저감되는 것을 방지할 수 있게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise damping device is provided to decrease noise by damping vibration of piping connected to a compressor and to improve reliability of product. CONSTITUTION: In a front of a partition(50), an interior heat exchanger(24) evaporating a heat exchange medium is installed. In a rear of the partition, a motor(22) is arranged. A piping(28) is fixed to the partition by a fixing member(60) which is designed for damping vibration caused by operation of a compressor(26). On one end of the fixing member, a fixing hole is formed to be fixed to the piping and on the other end, a fixing portion is prepared to prevent separation. Before fixing the pipe to the compressor, the fixing hole of the fixing member is fitted and the piping is fixed to the compressor. Upon finishing of compressor and partition installation, other end of the fixing member is inserted to a hole of the partition. Vibration generated from the compressor during operation of the compressor is damped by the fixing member. Thus piping is protected from being hit with surrounding peripherals to damp noise.
