Abstract: PURPOSE: A bookmark service method and an electronic device thereof are provided to allow a user to use a bookmark service for multimedia contents. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device receives multimedia contents (201). The electronic device checks channel state information about the electronic device (207). The electronic device determines a bookmark by considering the channel state information (209). The multimedia contents comprises multimedia works such as digitalized literature, music, photographs, art, etc. The multimedia contents includes at least one of the contents which are stored in the electronic device and able to be used and a series of the information contents which are provided through a wireless network or a high speed data network.
