Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for displaying a message in a portable wireless terminal is provided to vividly display the message on a display window of the portable wireless terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a user requests a message sliding display using a function key of a key input unit, a control unit checks the requested message sliding display(300). The control unit displays a request message for inputting a line of an LCD in which the user wishes for the message slide on an internal LCD(302). If the user inputs a numerical key of the corresponding line, the control unit judges the corresponding numerical key value as line information(304) and stores a message of the corresponding line corresponding to line information in a virtual memory of a memory unit(306). The control unit moves a start point of the virtual memory according to a W/C per a T/C period, reads the message corresponding to the line, and stores the read message in a corresponding line storing region of an LCD buffer composed in an LCD driving unit(308). The control unit controls the LCD driving unit and performs a message sliding display on the internal LCD(310).
