Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of displaying sunrise and sunset time in a mobile communication terminal is provided to differently display brightness of a screen background according to whether or not a present time is included in a time zone between a calculated sunrise time and a sunset time, thereby supplying a sunrise and a sunset time by using weather information and time information of a present area. CONSTITUTION: A controller receives position information and weather information from a mobile communication system(101). The controller calculates a sunrise time and a sunset time of a present area from the position information and the weather information, and stores the times(103). The controller calculates the sunrise and the sunset times by using data on latitude, longitude, and the earth's orbital motion. The controller decides whether a present time is at sunrise(105). If so, the controller displays a screen as set brightness, and completes the procedure(107).
