Abstract:
A testing apparatus, method, and system of a liquid crystal panel are provided to detect failure of a gate line, a data line, or a pixel exactly by separately adjusting a voltage level of a test signal applied to each gate line and each data line. A testing apparatus of a liquid crystal panel includes a test signal generator(300) and a probe unit(400). The test signal generator generates a test signal whose voltage level is adjusted according to an external control signal. The probe unit contacts each gate line and each data line of the liquid crystal panel to provide the test signal. The test signal includes a testing gate on voltage, a testing gate off voltage, a testing common voltage, and a testing image data voltage. The test signal generator adjusts voltage levels of the testing gate on voltage, the testing gate off voltage, the testing common voltage, and the testing image data voltage.
Abstract:
A device and a method for booting a system having only the internal memory are provided to boot the system having only the Internet memory, and play a role of a master to transfer data without an internal master when an external host transfers the data to a predetermined area of an internal system. An interface part(110) manages interface with a host. The memory(120) reads/store a booting code from the host through the interface part. A register(130) stores control information for enabling the host to control the memory and controlling a clock/reset operation of a processor. The master(140) transfers the boot code stored in the memory to the internal memory based on the information stored in the register. The memory includes data receiving memories(122,123) and a data transmitting memory(121). The master reads the data from the predetermined area of the memory and stores the data to the predetermined area of the internal memory after booting is completed. A slave(150) manages the interface between the host and the system if the mater is activated after booting.

Abstract:
A method for inspecting a thin film transistor substrate is provided to prevent a contact error by improving a contact state between a probe and a gate pad or between the probe and a data pad. A plurality of signal lines, a plurality of shorting bars(50a,50b,50c) formed at ends of the signal lines, a plurality of inspection signal pads(52) formed at both ends of the shorting bars, and a plurality of pads connected to the shorting bars and the signal lines are formed on a thin film transistor substrate. A signal supply member comes in contact with the inspection signal pads and the pads. An error is detected by applying an inspection signal to the signal supply member. The signal lines are composed of gate lines(20) or data lines(30).
Abstract:
A booting device in an embedded system, and a method thereof are provided to secure the stability of an embedded chip to improve the use of the embedded chip and increase the life span of the embedded chip. An apparatus for updating codes of an embedded ROM(Read Only Memory)(221) included in an embedded system includes a clock/reset controller(211), an external interface(225), an extra embedded RAM(Random Access Memory)(223,224) and a reconfiguration controller(222). The clock/reset controller restricts the supply of a clock signal until the embedded RAM is updated and reconfigured through the external interface. The external interface performs serial communication with an external host and stores position information of data to be updated and information representing whether update is completed. The embedded RAM stores data to be updated in the embedded ROM. The reconfiguration controller updates the address of the embedded ROM corresponding to information stored in the embedded RAM when receiving an updating completion signal from the external interface and reconfigures information to be stored in the embedded RAM.

본 고안에 따른 컴퓨터 시스템은 패드와 스틱을 포함한다. 패드는 컴퓨터 시스템의 하우징 상에 배치된다. 패드는 컴퓨터 시스템의 스크린 상에서 포인터의 방향을 제어한다. 패드 상에는 제 1 컨택트들이 배치된다. 제 1 컨택트들은 포인터의 제어 방향들로 각각 배치된다. 스틱에는 제 1 컨택트들과 각각 대응되는 제 2 컨택트들이 일단에 배치된다. 스틱은 패드에/으로부터 결합/분리 가능하다. 본 고안의 컴퓨터 시스템은 스틱을 패드에 연결하여 조이스틱으로 사용할 수 있다.
