Abstract: PURPOSE: A HSSCCH detection apparatus of a communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to decide decoding reliability of HSSCCH more accurately by comparing a difference value between a maximum value and a minimum value of the decoding reliability with a critical value. CONSTITUTION: A channel decoding unit proceeds Viterbi decoding of HSSCCH (High Speed Shared Control Channel)(613). The channel decoding unit checks decoding reliability of the HSSCCH(615). If a difference value between a maximum value and a minimum value of the decoding reliability by HSSCCH exceeds a critical value, the channel decoding unit detects the HSSCCH corresponding to the maximum value(625,627). Abstract: A roaming service method for a fast and secure wireless network is provided. In an embodiment of the present invention, an AP, which an STA associates with, transmits security keys needed for roaming to neighbor APs of the AP. When the STA moves to one of the neighbor APs, a reassociation is carried out between the STA and the neighbor AP using the already provided security key. In another embodiment of the present invention, an authentication server transmits security keys needed for roaming to neighbor APs to which the STA is likely to move, so that when the STA moves to one of the neighbor APs, a reassociation is carried out between the STA and the neighbor AP using the already provided security key.

Abstract: A method for generating a security key in a wireless network is provided to perform a rapid communication between a mobile terminal and an access point by minimizing a time for a roaming service by simplifying roaming procedure in a wireless information communication network. A reception process is performed to receive a first level pairwise master key derived from a predetermined master key from a server(903-907). A first deriving process is performed to derive a pairwise master key from the first level pairwise master key(909). Abstract: 본 발명은 고속의 안정된 무선망에서의 핸드오프에 따른 지연을 최소화하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 발명에서는 현재 이동 단말기와의 접속을 가지는 접속점이 상기 이동 단말기와의 재접속을 위해 요구되는 정보를 핸드오프가 가능한 인접 접속점들로 전파하도록 한다. 그리고 인접 접속점들은 상기 이동 단말기가 이동하면 컨텍스트에 의해 상기 이동 단말기와의 재접속을 수행하도록 한다. 따라서 핸드오프 절차를 수행할 시 해당 이동 단말기에 대한 컨텍스트를 전달받기 위해 소요되는 시간을 줄일 수 있어 빠른 핸드오프가 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다.
