Abstract: A system and a method for transmitting/receiving a binding update message in a communication system are provided to sense movement of an MS and set an overlay multicast session between control stations. When an ACR(Access Control Router) to which an MS(Mobile Station) 1 belongs does not receive a router advertisement message or receives the router advertisement message from ACRs, the MS senses that the MS 1 reaches to an IP(Internet Protocol) domain boundary. The ACR 1 managing the MS 1 receives data which an MS 2 transmits(335). The received data is delivered to an adjacent ACR in which the overlay multicast session is set(337,339).

Abstract: A system and a method of transmitting/receiving encrypted data in a communication system are provided to reduce the load generated by the issuance and the termination of certificate. The first mobile station produces the first secret key by receiving the first public key based on the identifier of the first mobile station from the server. The second key token which is produced by using the first public key from the second mobile station is received. The first session key is produced by using the first secret key and the second key token. Encrypted data are transmitted through the first session key. The second mobile station produces the second secret key by receiving the second public key based on the ID of the second mobile station.
