Abstract: PURPOSE: A computing device and a control method thereof are provided to intuitively notify a user when UI(user interface) items are not scrolled by changing the transparency of the UI items. CONSTITUTION: A touch input unit(12) receives touch input by a user on a display unit(11) and a control unit(13) displays displayable UI items among UI items on a screen by a degree of transparency. The control unit sequentially displays the UI items on the screen while scrolling the UI items according to touch input. When the UI items cannot be scrolled anymore, the control unit increases the degree of transparency of the UI items. The transparency of the UI items is increased corresponding to a degree of movement of the touch input. Abstract: PURPOSE: A computing device and a control method thereof are provided to intuitively unlock a locked state by using touch input. CONSTITUTION: A touch input unit(12) receives touch input by a user on a display unit(11). A control unit(13) displays a locked image having a predetermined definition on the screen in a locked state. When the touch input of the user is determined as an unlocking input of the locked state, the control unit reduces the definition of the locked image.
