Abstract: PURPOSE: An ODD(Optical Disc Drive) is provided to save expense by receiving a number of parts and improve a static electricity removal function. CONSTITUTION: A PCB(Printed Circuit Board) is installed to a case(110). A tray(116) is inserted/drawn from the case by equipping with an optical disc. A main base(130) is equipped with a spindle motor(142) rotating the optical disc, a bracket(140) supporting the spindle motor, an optical pickup(120) accessing the optical disc, and a driving motor(122) driving the optical pickup by joining to the tray. An FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit)(114) electrically connects the PCB and the tray, and forms a ground pattern. A base cover(160) protects the main base by joining to the main base. An exposing part(124a) of the ground pattern is formed to a part of the FPC. A contact part electrically contacting to the exposing part of the ground pattern is formed to the base cover in order to ground the static electricity applied to the base cover.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical disk drive is provided to form the first supporting holder and the second supporting holder with electrical isolation materials, while the second coupling unit is installed at different axis from the first coupling unit, thereby tremendously reducing RF noises and an error rate. CONSTITUTION: The first supporting holder(170) is fixed to a main base(130) by the first coupling unit(174). The first supporting cover(172) is fixed to an upper side of the first supporting holder(170) by the second coupling unit(175) so as to prevent the first guide rail(141) from being separated from the first supporting holder(170), by covering the upper side of the first supporting holder(170). One end of the second guide rail(142) is inserted into the second supporting holder(171) separable from the main base(130). The second supporting holder(171) is fixed to the main base(130) by the first coupling unit(174).

Abstract: 광디스크 드라이브의 트레이 가이드 구조체가 개시된다. 개시된 트레이 가이드 구조체는, 트레이의 양측에 형성된 레일결합부와, 트레이의 양측 레일결합부에 각각 결합되어 트레이를 슬라이딩 가능하게 지지하는 슬라이딩레일과, 하부 케이스의 양측 구석에 각각 고정 설치되어 슬라이딩레일을 가이드하는 레일가이드를 구비한다. 일측 슬라이딩레일의 소정 위치에는 위쪽으로 돌출 형성된 돌출부가 마련된다. 일측 레일가이드에는 일측 슬라이딩레일이 전방으로 소정 거리 이동하였을 때 돌출부가 걸리게 되는 전방 스토퍼가 마련되어 슬라이딩레일의 전방 이동 거리가 제한된다. 그리고, 일측 레일가이드에는 일측 슬라이딩레일이 후방으로 소정 거리 이동하였을 때 일측 슬라이딩레일의 후단부와 돌출부가 각각 걸리게 되는 제1 후방 스토퍼와 제2 후방 스토퍼가 마련되어 슬라이딩레일의 후방 이동 거리가 제한된다. 이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 트레이 또는 슬라이딩레일에 상당한 충격이나 힘이 작용하여도 슬라이딩레일의 후방 이동이 보다 확실하게 제한될 수 있으므로, 슬라이딩레일의 과다한 후방 이동에 의한 슬라이딩레일과 레일가이드 사이의 끼임 현상이 방지된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure for a tray guide of an ODD(Optical Disc Drive) is provided to prevent jam between a sliding rail and a rail guide even if a considerable shock or force is applied to a tray or the sliding rail by equipping with a dual stopper restricting the rearward movement of the sliding rail. CONSTITUTION: A projection(125) is projected to an upward direction at a position of one sliding rail(122). A front stopper(124) installed to one rail guide(123) hangs the projection when the sliding rail is moved to the front at a predetermined distance. The first and the second rear stopper(126,127) installed to one rail guide respectively hang a rear part and the projection of the sliding rail when one sliding rail is moved to the rear at the predetermined distance.
