Abstract: A display device is provided to expand the area of installation for circuit components without increasing the size of a bidirectional display device. A display device(100) comprises a receiving frame(110), a front light module(120), a cover member(150), and a display panel module(170). The receiving frame comprises the first through fourth sidewalls(111,113,115,117) which defines a receiving space. The front light module comprises a light guide plate(130) and a light source(140). The light guide plate is arranged at the upper side of the receiving space. The light source is arranged between the side of the light guide plate and the first sidewall. The cover member, arranged on top of the sidewalls, covers the light source and a portion of the upper surface of the light guide plate. The display panel module comprises a liquid crystal panel(160) and a driving printed circuit film(171). The liquid crystal panel, facing the light guide plate, is arranged at the lower side of the receiving space. The driving printed circuit film is extended up to an end portion of the cover member along the first sidewall from an edge of the liquid crystal panel.

Abstract: An LCD is provided to simplify a connector coupling process by removing a connector connected to a substrate from a sub PCB(printed circuit board). An interface board(30) is formed between a main assembly and a sub assembly. A flexible circuit film electrically connects driving circuits included in a sub display panel and the interface board. The flexible circuit film is attached to the interface board so as to be positioned in an interface board hole. Right and left areas of the interface board adjacent to the flexible circuit film are thinner than other region.
