Abstract: PURPOSE: A stacked semiconductor package having a film substrate and a fabrication method thereof are provided to perform various functions while having low thickness by removing an upper interconnection substrate of an upper semiconductor package and removing a solder connecting an upper and a lower semiconductor package. CONSTITUTION: In a stacked semiconductor package having a film substrate and a fabrication method thereof, a film substrate(10) includes a conductivity hole pattern, a conductive connection pattern, and a conductive lid. The conductivity hole patterns are formed at the center. A conductive connection patterns are connected to the conductivity hole patterns and the outer side. The conductive lid(16) is connected to the conductive connection patterns. A ball land is formed at the bottom of the interconnection substrate and a lower semiconductor chip inside a sealing material. The semiconductor package is laminated so that the ball land is placed on the conductivity hole patterns.
