Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent the voltage difference between pixels from generating by means of three TFT(Thin Film Transistor)s, thereby preventing the spreading badness of a pixel from generating. Gate lines are formed toward the first direction and include gate electrodes. Data lines are crossed with the gate line toward the second direction and includes source and drain electrodes overlapped with the gate electrodes. The first dummy line is formed with the same direction as the gate line and includes the first dummy electrode(76) overlapped with the gate electrode. A pixel electrode is connected with the first dummy electrode electrically. A storage electrode line is overlapped with one long and short sides of the pixel electrode and includes a storage electrode(75) overlapped with the gate electrode(24). The second dummy line is formed with the same direction as the data line and includes the second dummy electrode(77) overlapped with the gate electrode. The third dummy electrode(95) is formed between the second dummy electrodes and overlapped with the gate electrode.

Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to integrate a light sensing device into the LCD through the same process as a switching device installed in a pixel area, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
