Abstract: PURPOSE: An external display interface, electronic reader system, and operation method are provided to offer historic tendency of performance improvement, cost reduction, and system simplification. CONSTITUTION: A content extraction module(502) confirms a content property of a content block from a displayable page. A discover module(504) determines a first display specification of a first display device and a second display specification of a second display device related to both content properties. A rank module(302) makes a ranking for the first display specification and the second display specification. When the ranking of the second display specification is higher than the ranking of the first display specification, a rendering module(508) processes the content block for displaying the content block on the second display device.
