Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device and a program method thereof are provided to prevent stress of a memory cell due to repetitive program by using a buffer memory. Data corresponding to logic sector number(a~d) is successively inputted. Each data occupies one sector. The logic sector number(a) is converted to a physical sector number(0) by a flash translation layer according to write request of data corresponding to the logic sector number(a). Data corresponding to the physical sector number(0) is stored in a buffer memory. The buffer memory is comprised of a buffer page. The buffer page includes buffer sectors. Until data of one page is stored in the buffer memory, data corresponding to logic sector number(b~d) is stored in the buffer memory.

본발명의실시예에따른플래시메모리를포함하는저장장치의동작방법은, 상기플래시메모리의데이터신뢰도(DRL; data reliability level)를결정하는단계, 그리고상기데이터신뢰도(DRL)와변경기준을비교하고, 비교결과상기데이터신뢰도(DRL)가상기변경기준보다낮아지면, 상기플래시메모리의데이터신뢰도(DRL)을증가하기위해상기플래시메모리의동작조건(operation condition)을변경하는단계를포함한다. 본발명의실시예에따른저장장치는메모리블록의데이터신뢰도(DRL; data reliability level)를관리함으로, 플래시메모리의데이터신뢰성을높일수 있다. 본발명에의하면, 소거나프로그램또는읽기동작시에플래시메모리의동작조건을변경함으로, 플래시메모리의데이터신뢰성을높일수 있다.
Abstract:
A multichannel flash memory system and an access method thereof are provided to improve the access performance by efficiently using channel. Flash memories(400_0~400_N-1) have a plurality of pages consisting of a plurality of sectors. Channels(10_0~10_N-1) respectively correspond to the flash memories. An interface device(300) accesses the flash memories in one or more sector units through the channels, and divides an address into a plurality of sector unit addresses. So that the divided each address can be jumped as much as predetermined size, the interface device controls the addresses.

PURPOSE: A memory system and a data storing method thereof are provided to change indirect information for user's convenience and assign an index function of information based on the changed information, thereby maximizing usability of electronic dictionary information. CONSTITUTION: A memory system includes a memory device(110) and a memory controller. The memory device has a cache area(112) and a main area(111). The memory controller controls an operation of the memory device. The memory controller dumps file data in the cache area in response to a flush cache command.
Abstract:
A memory system and a data storing method thereof are provided to manage data efficiently, by storing corresponding data to a proper memory region. A first memory region(232) stores data of a first kind. A second memory region(234) stores data of a second kind. A host(210) inputs/outputs data to/from the first and the second memory region, and transmits the data to the first and the second memory region by filtering the data into the data of the first or second kind. The data is filtered on the basis of a symbol in the host. The first and the second memory region are a flash storing device and a HDD(Hard Disk Driver).
