Abstract: 곤충의겹눈을모사한평면구조또는부분입체구조를갖는광 센서가제공된다. 본발명의일 양상에따른광 센서는서로다른길이의다수의오마티디아를포함한다. 각각의오마티디아는기판위 또는기판내부에일정한각도범위로원주방향을따라원형배열된다. 이때상대적으로길이가짧은오마티디아가상대적으로길이가긴 오마티디아사이에배열될수 있다. 기판과오마티디아는서로다른굴절률을갖는다. 따라서전반사를통해빛을수송하는것이가능하다.

Abstract: A cell ID generating method and a display device including a cell ID are provided to form a cell ID symbol pattern at the same time during a photo process for gate metal layer formation and complete the cell ID by marking a simple spot in a corresponding symbol, thereby significantly reducing tact time. A metal layer is deposited on a substrate through a sputtering process or the like. On the metal layer, a photoresist is applied. The photoresist is exposed to light through a mask including a light blocking pattern corresponding to a cell ID(Identification) symbol pattern(100). The photoresist is developed. A metal pattern including the cell ID symbol pattern is formed by etching the metal layer. The photoresist is removed. After that, a recognizable mark(200) is formed in a corresponding part of the cell ID symbol pattern by using laser or the like.

Abstract: An LCD panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce transmittance loss of light generated in a backlight unit, thereby improving an aperture ratio and preventing instant afterimages. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel comprises a color filter substrate, a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate and an LC. The TFT substrate comprises the following parts. A gate line(23) and a data line(25) define a pixel area by crossing each other. A gate electrode(33) is electrically connected with the gate line. An active layer is overlapped with the gate electrode with a gate insulating layer between active layers. A source electrode(27) is electrically connected with the data line. A storage electrode forms a storage capacitor by being overlapped with the drain electrode. The drain electrode comprises a central drain electrode(65) disposed in the center of the pixel area to divide the pixel area into two areas, and a drain connection electrode(63) connected with the central drain electrode. The pixel electrode is divided into first and second pixel electrodes(9,15). The first pixel electrode is disposed in an upper part of one side of the central drain electrode. The second pixel electrode is disposed in an upper part of the other side. The storage electrode comprises a central storage electrode(35) overlapped with the central drain electrode. To improve an aperture ratio, an area for forming the storage capacitor by overlapping a central storage electrode with a central drain electrode is reduced.
