Abstract: An LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to realize the pre-tilt of liquid crystal molecules, thereby improving the response speed of liquid crystal molecules, by improving the pattern of each sub-pixel electrode such that the center of the sub-pixel electrode is downwardly inclined to a lower substrate. A lower substrate(1) includes a pixel electrode, wherein the pixel electrode has sub-pixel electrodes(82a) each defining a domain. Abstract: An LCD and an optical film assembly adopted in the same are provided to reduce the thickness of an optical film and save the manufacturing cost of the optical film, by disposing a biaxial film adjacently to an LCD panel and attaching a polarizing film on the biaxial film. An LCD comprises an LCD panel and an optical film assembly. The LCD panel includes two substrates(100,300) and a liquid crystal layer(200) formed between the two substrates. The LCD panel has a plurality of domains defined in a plurality of unit pixel regions.
