Abstract: An apparatus for multiplexing a multi-channel audio signal in a DVD(Digital Video Disc) recorder and a method therefor are provided to record and store the audio of a multiple signal in one audio channel by converting a general audio signal into an audio signal of a multi-channel, inputting a signal code of the multiple signal to the converted audio signal of the multi-channel, and synchronizing the inputted multiple signal.
