    Abstract: A battery inserting/ejecting apparatus and an electronic device are provided to prevent a battery from being abruptly detached due to a user's mistake or a child's careless mischief by making the locking of the battery released over many steps in case it is required to detach the battery. A battery inserting/ejecting apparatus(30) comprises a battery mounting part(100) and a locking device, and the battery mounting part(100) is formed at the case(10) of an electronic device. The locking device, provided to lock a battery(1) in the battery mounting part(100) or release the locking of the battery over at least two steps, comprises the first locking unit(200) and the second locking unit(300). The first locking unit(200) directly participates in locking the battery(1) or releasing the locking of the battery(1). The second locking unit(300) plays an indirect role in locking and releasing by regulating the movement of the first locking unit(200). The first locking unit(200) comprises a locking member(210), the first pressure spring(220), a release knob(230), and the second pressure spring(240). The locking member(210) is movable between a locking position and a release position. The first pressure spring(220) pressurizes the locking member(210) to the locking position. The release knob(230) is installed at the case(10) so as to make a sliding motion. When the release knob(230) moves to the first direction, the release knob(230) shifts the locking member(210) to the release position. The second pressure spring(240) pressurizes the locking member(210) to the second direction which is opposite to the first direction.
