Abstract: A menu selection method of a terminal is provided to enable a user to select a menu by using a combination of a special key and a number key, therefore the user can quickly select a desired menu. When a number key is inputted, it is decided whether a previously inputted special key exists(S201-S215). If so, a menu corresponding to a number made by adding a number matched with the special key to a number matched with the number key is displayed(S217-S221). If the inputted special key does not exist, a menu corresponding to the number matched with the number key is displayed(S218).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A VQTU(Vocoder Quality Test Unit) for an IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication)-2000 system and a method therefor are provided to test the quality of a vocoder through an MTH(Main Test Handling) in a test Q and M(Operation and Management) BSC(Base Station Controller. The TVH(244) perform a test by the message transmitted from the TCC(242) and transmits the tested result to the TCC(242).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for diagnosing a call processor in the mobile communication system are provided to minimize the message loss due to the unstable IPC by testing the processor by the unit sector. CONSTITUTION: If a diagnostic command with respect to the corresponding test item and sector is received from a test manager(212), in the test control part(216), the state data for each unit sector of the corresponding processor are examined. The test command is output for each unit sector to the call managing processor and the test results are transmitted to the test manager.
