Abstract: A method for providing fortunetelling information in a mobile terminal is provided to offer the fortunetelling information for persons stored in the mobile terminal as well as a user of the mobile terminal regardless of time/location. A mobile terminal checks whether a fortunetelling information providing function is set(S203). The mobile terminal checks whether fortunetelling information of persons stored in a phonebook is stored(S205). The mobile terminal calculates and stores the fortunetelling information of the persons stored in the phonebook when the fortunetelling information is not stored in the mobile terminal(S219).
