The display apparatus, according to an embodiment of the present invention, includes a liquid crystal display panel configured to display an image, and a backlight unit disposed in the lower portion of the liquid crystal display panel and configured to emit light to the liquid crystal display panel, wherein the backlight unit includes a bottom chassis comprising an accommodation space configured to accommodate a plurality of light sources, a middle mold provided on the bottom chassis, a diffusing plate provided on the middle mold, and a fixing member provided on an outer surface of the bottom chassis and configured to contact one side of the diffusing plate and prevent movement of the diffusing plate.
