Abstract: PURPOSE: A page providing method of a portable terminal for change over between pages according to a specific input signal is provided to easily obtain desired information through a searched page and search the page. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal outputs the fixed page within a first category(S103). If a first input signal is generated, the portable terminal outputs the next page or the previous page(S105, S107). If the second input signal generates, the portable terminal outputs the fixed page within the second category(S109, S113). If the second input signal does not generate, the portable terminal performs the corresponding function(S111).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for displaying a visual signal of a portable terminal by recognizing scene images is provided to flexibly convert the working screen images and recognize scene images. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal outputs a first screen image corresponding to fist user function(S103). Abstract: PURPOSE: A list searching method and a portable terminal supporting thereof are provided to quickly search user wanted information in the various file alignment. CONSTITUTION: A storage(150) stores lists. A display unit(141) outputs a list area including at least a part of the list. A touch screen(140) creates a touch event for the search of the specific list among lists. According to the input signal, a controller(160) outputs search areas in which the index group is outputted in the screen. The index group has the index for the catalog search.
