Abstract: A liquid crystal shutter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first plate including a first transparent electrode layer; a second plate which is disposed in parallel with the first plate and includes a second transparent electrode layer; a liquid crystal layer which is disposed between the first plate and the second plate and transmits or blocks a light depending on a first potential difference between the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer; and a heating electrode which generates a second potential different for generating the Joule heat on the first transparent electrode layer.
