CONSTITUTION: A vertical opposite discharge flat lamp comprises an upper plate(10), a lower plate(20), many outer walls(30), electrodes(40), dielectric layers(42) and a phosphor layer(41). The electrodes(40) are formed on at least two inner opposite surfaces of the outer walls(30). The dielectric layers(42) protect the electrodes(40). The phosphor layer(41) is coated over the upper plate(10) or the lower plate(20).
