Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for guaranteeing conformity of connection information among distributed control processors in a control station of a mobile communication system is provided to solve a non-conformity of connection information caused due to an error by driving a restoration algorithm. CONSTITUTION: When an SCP(Switch Control Processor) board of a switch controller(221) is instantaneously failed, the switching controller(221) informs an access routing unit(214) of an SCP restart processing starting(411). The access routing unit(214) sets the SCP to an unavailable state and when a connection request message is received from an access controller, the access routing unit(214) rejects it(412). The access routing unit(214) informs the switch controller(221) of receiving an SCP restart processing start message(413). The switch controller(221) requests pre-set connection information from an AIM(ATM Interface Modules) of every ATM interface unit(222)(414). The ATM interface unit(222) extracts pre-set connection information in each AIM on the basis of uni-directional connection(415) and gives the switch controller(221) the pre-set connection information in each AIM(416). The switch controller(221) restores connection information of itself by using the information received from the AIMs of every ATM interface unit(222) and judges whether connection information in the SCP has been completely generated(417). The switch controller(221) is restored to a previous state before restarting and informs the access routing unit(214) of the SCP restart processing completion(418). The access routing unit(214) sets the SCP state to an available state to normally process a connection request message as received(419). The access routing unit(214) informs the switch controller(221) of receipt of the SCP restart processing completion message(420).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for processing a call connection of an advanced mobile communication system RNC(Radio Network Controller) is provided to create and transmit a message to be transmitted to an upper or a lower layer of an SCCP(Signal Connection Control Part) by using call connection information and a hash value according to a kind of the message, thereby preventing collision between reference numbers in a No.7 SCCP layer. CONSTITUTION: If a message is transmitted from an upper layer of an SCCP(311-101), the SCCP creates an input number, and creates a hash value with the input number. The SCCP maps the created hash value with a lower primitive by a reference number, and transmits the value to a lower MTP(Message Transfer Part)(311-102). If the message is transmitted upward from the SCCP(311-103), the SCCP extracts a connection point and a reference number. The SCCP makes either of an 'up_ref' value and a 'dn_ref' value stored in call connection information(311-108) a reference number, and upward transmits the reference number to an AP(Application Protocol)(311-104). The call connection information(311-108) includes the reference numbers, and consists of information for performing primitive mapping between upper and lower layers.

Abstract: A handover method for preventing time delay according to signal exchange between base stations is provided to perform handover through radio resources allocated without signal exchange, thereby performing efficient handover. A source base station sets or releases a user plane route between each neighbor BTS(Base Station) and an access gateway. The source base station stores radio resource information of each neighbor BTS(S100). When a determined target base station is registered in user plane route setting information, the source base station performs handover without signal exchange with another target base station(S200).

Abstract: A resource managing method for performing the hand-over in a mobile communication system is provided to maximize the re-use between sector resources in an intra hand-over, thereby minimizing the waste of the system resources. In a hand-over request process, the first base station of a present user terminal requests the hand-over to the second base station determined as a target base station. In a resource maintaining process, the first base station maintains the resources during the predetermined time after performing the hand-over. In the hand-over request process, the first base station determines the second base station as the target base station according as the measuring report from the user terminal about that the signal intensity of the second base station is above a first reference value is received and transmits the hand-over request message.
