Abstract: A damage prevention method in case of loss of a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a user to send a message for directly controlling a mobile commerce function of the terminal if the terminal having the mobile commerce function is lost, so as to report loss of the terminal, thereby minimizing the user's financial damage. When a message is received, it is decided whether a character string for a loss report exists in the received message(300,310). If so, pre-stored user information is transmitted to a loss report center(320). It is decided whether a loss report complete message is received from the loss report center according to the transmission(330). If so, a mobile commerce function is interrupted(340). If the message including the character string is received, a notifying function notifying of message reception is interrupted.

Abstract: A sending method in a roaming service is provided to enable a roaming service subscriber to add conveniently a phone number to a desired number among various kinds of roaming service provider numbers and immediately make a roaming call without inputting phone numbers one by one. A sending method in a roaming service comprises: enabling a portable terminal to sense movement from a master station to the other station and converting a state into a roaming service available state(S1,S3); sensing a send attempt to a phone number stored in a memory of the portable terminal in the roaming service available state(S4); displaying an input window for number input on a screen of the portable terminal if the send attempt is sensed(S7); inputting a number, corresponding to an inputted number key, to the input window if the number key is inputted(S8); and adding the inputted number to the phone number and performing a sending process if a user presses a specific key of the portable terminal(S9,S10).

Abstract: A mobile terminal having a function for reporting loss of a credit card and a method thereof are provided to report the loss of the credit card automatically without any input operation of a user by connecting to an ARS(Automatic Response Service) system of a credit card company and using voice recognition. A voice recognizer(40) extracts a voice pattern by analyzing voice guidance of an ARS system of a credit card company. A DTMF(Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) generator(30) outputs information requested from the voice guidance of the ARS system by using a DTMF signal. A memory(80) stores the voice patterns for the voice guidance of the ARS system. A controller(20) understands the voice guidance by comparing the extracted voice pattern with the voice patterns stored in the memory, and enables the DTMF generator to output the DTMF signal corresponding to the voice guidance. A user interface outputs a message representing completion of a credit card loss report when the voice guidance for completing the credit card loss report is recognized.
