    Abstract: PURPOSE: A ballast-water tank unit of a ship and a method of handling green-house gas of a ship using the same are provided to produce bio energy since water plant and predator are cultivated using green-house gas. CONSTITUTION: A ballast-water tank unit(100) of a ship comprises a first tank body(10) and an injection pipe(11). The first tank body holds ballast water. The injection pipe injects exhaust-gas mixture into the first tank body. The exhaust-gas mixture is discharged from the ship and contains toxic components and green-house gas. The water plant is in the ballast water of the first tank body, does not die by the toxic components and absorbs the green-house gas.
