Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for processing a synthetic aperture radar image by using root conversion and a method thereof are provided to implement a calculation process in real time by defining an energy function using m-th root conversion and by removing noise from input images with the defined energy function. CONSTITUTION: An image acquisition unit (110) acquires an input image on an object area. An image processing unit (120) generates an output image in which noise is removed by removing the noise with an energy function using a previously defined m-th root conversion from the acquired input image. An image display unit (130) displays the output image. An image storage unit (140) stores the acquired input image and the output image. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing an agent for embolus containing superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(SPIOs) is provided to trace particle position and state in the body. CONSTITUTION: An agent for embolus contains a spherical particle containing superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles. The nanoparticle is loaded on a biocompatible polymer. The biocompatible polymer is chitosan. A method for preparing the agent for embolus comprises: a step of mixing a biocompatible polymer solution and superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles; and a step of dropping the solution to a mixture solvent to form a spherical particle.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A producing method of hydrophilic polymeric microsphere mounting super-paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles is provided to uniformly disperse the super-paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles in the microsphere. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of hydrophilic polymeric microsphere mounting super-paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles comprises the following steps: mixing a bio-compatible macromolecular solution and the super-paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles; and dropping the mixed solution on a mixed solvent of an organic solvent layer and a coacervation medium layer, for forming the microsphere. The mounting efficiency of the super-paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles is greater than 90%.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A chitosan microsphere for embolotherapy is provided to maintain strength over certain level and ensure uniform size and elasticity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for embolotherapy contains a chitosan microsphere having uniform size and sphere. The chitosan microsphere contains polyethyleneoxide. A method for manufacturing the microsphere comprises: a step of making chitosan solution; a step of dropping chitosan solution to upper layer of organic solvent or lower layer of alkali solution or anion solution; and a step of cross-linking the formed microsphere. Dropping is performed using nitrogen gas.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing chitosan microsphere is provided to produce chitosan microsphere having improved elasticity and flexibility. CONSTITUTION: A method or preparing chitosan microsphere comprises: a step of making chitosan solution; a step of dropping chitosan solution to upper layer of organic solvent and lower layer of alkali solution or cationic solution; and a step of cross-linking the microsphere. The organic solvent which is not soluble with water is petroleum ether or ethel ether. Dropping is performed using nitrogen gas. The cross-linking is performed by reacting with genipin.
