Abstract: The present invention relates to a biomarker for diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis and the use thereof. The marker of the present invention is specifically increased in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. When antibodies or plasminogen are combined with the marker, production of inflammatory cytokines is stimulated. Accordingly, the condition of patients with rheumatoid arthritis is worsened. When the marker of the present invention is used, accurate diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis can be performed. Also, a prognosis for patients with rheumatoid arthritis can be accurately assessed. When a screening method of the present invention is used, a medicine for preventing and treating rheumatoid arthritis can be quickly and effectively screened.
