Abstract: PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a novel peptide which enhances transcription activity of VEGF(Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) is provided to activate VEGF gene through HIF-1alpha activation and to promote wound healing, skin tissue regeneration, and hair growth. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for wound healing and skin tissue regeneration contains a peptide with a base sequence selected from sequence numbers 1-3. The peptide enhances the expression of HIF-1alpha, VEGF, fibronectin, or collagen. The peptide proliferates VEGF and enhances cell migration.
