Abstract:
본 발명은 정삼투법을 이용한 담수화 및 정수방법에 적용시키기 위한 유도용질 및 이를 이용한 담수화 및 정수방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 구체적으로는, 50 내지 3000 g/mol의 몰질량을 가지며, 0℃ 내지 70℃에서 상분리 현상이 발생되는 온도응답성 정삼투 유도용질 및 이를 이용한 담수화 및 정수방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 정삼투법을 이용한 해수 담수화 및 오염수 정화에 사용되기에 최적의 조건을 갖는 온도응답성 정삼투 유도용질을 제공할 수 있으며, 이러한 온도응답성 정삼투 유도용질을 사용한 담수화 및 정수방법은 에너지 소모량이 거의 없으면서도, 적용이 간편하고, 유도용질의 분리가 매우 용이하다.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a draw solute to be applied to a method for desalination and water purification using forward osmosis, and to a method for desalination and water purification using the draw solute. More particularly, the present invention relates to a thermo-responsive forward osmosis draw solute which has a molar mass of 50 to 3000 g/mol and a phase separation phenomenon occurring at temperatures from 0 to 70°C, and to a method for desalination and water purification using the draw solute. According to the present invention, a thermo-responsive forward osmosis draw solute having optimum conditions for sea water desalination and purification of contaminated water using forward osmosis can be provided. The method for desalination and water purification using the thermo-responsive forward osmosis draw solute consumes an extremely small amount of energy, is easy to apply, and enables very easy separation of the draw solute. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A temperature responsive forward osmosis draw solute and a forward osmosis seawater desalination method using the same are provided to be capable of easy desalination using forward osmosis, easy separation of the draw solute, and separation in low temperatures to provide very high energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A temperature responsive forward osmosis draw solute is indicated in the chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, x and y are respectively integers from 0 to 5, both of which are not zero at the same time.R1-R3 are each CH2CH2NHCOCH(CH3); or R1 and R2 are each CH2CH3 , and R3 is CH2CH2NHCO(CH2)2CH3. The forward osmosis seawater desalination method includes following steps; making seawater come into contact with the draw solute through the semi-permeable membrane with a higher concentration of draw solute than seawater.; transferring fresh water in the seawater to the draw solution through the semi-permeable membrane by the forward osmosis; precipitating the draw solution by lowering the temperature of the draw solution below a consolute temperature; and separating the fresh water from the draw solution.
