PURPOSE: A cedar wood discoloration controlling method is provided to improve the timber weather ability of cedar wood by transferring terpenes, lignans and flavonoids to a splint wood. CONSTITUTION: A cedar wood discoloration controlling method comprises a step of thermal processing or light processing the surface of cedar wood including a black core to reduce the color difference of the cedar wood. The thermal processing is selected from a heat-drying, a vacuum drying, and a hot water treatment. The light processing is a UV processing. The hot water treatment is processed under the condition of the temperature less than 100 deg C.

PURPOSE: A method for measuring the moisture content of wood using a near-infrared spectrometry and a method for controlling carbonization degrees are provided to prevent the ignition of the wood using reflectance spectrums obtained by the near-infrared spectrometry. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the moisture content of wood using a near-infrared spectrometry is as follows: a step of manufacturing wood samples and radiating near-infrared rays to the wood samples (S1); a step of setting a measured temperature (S3) and measuring the variation of moisture content (S4); a step of measuring the reflectance spectrums of the samples with an optical probe (S2); a step of storing the reflectance spectrums detected by a detector through a computer (S5,S6); a step of mathematically preprocessing the reflectance spectrums in the computer (7); and a step of implementing a partial least square regression analysis of the mathematically preprocessed spectrums (S8). 근적외선의 반사율 스펙트럼을 이용하여 목재의 표면 함수율을 측정하는 방법과 목재의 탄화도 탐지 및 발화 방지 방법이 개시된다. 목재의 함수율 측정 방법은, 시편을 제공하는 단계, 상기 시편의 함수율을 측정하기 위한 측정 온도를 설정하는 단계, 상기 시편의 섬유포화점 이하 및 이상에서의 함수율 변이를 설정하는 단계, 상기 시편에 근적외선을 조사하는 단계, 상기 시편에서 근적외선의 반사율 스펙트럼을 측정하는 단계, 상기 측정된 반사율 스펙트럼을 수학적 전처리하는 단계 및 상기 수학적 전처리가 완료된 데이터를 회귀분석하는 단계를 포함하여 구성된다. 또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 근적외선을 이용한 목재의 탄화도 제어 방법은, 시편을 제공하는 단계, 상기 시편의 함수율을 측정하기 위한 측정 온도를 설정하는 단계, 상기 시편을 열처리하는 단계, 상기 시편에 근적외선을 조사하는 단계 및 상기 시편에서 근적외선의 반사율 스펙트럼을 시간 간격에 따라 측정하는 단계를 포함하여 구성된다.

본 발명은 대단면 목재에 중공을 성형하는 단계, 및 중공 처리된 대단면재 재료를 열기 건조하는 대단면재 건조방법에 있어서, 중공 처리된 대단면재 외면에 수분 탈출방지수단을 제공하는 단계를 더욱 포함하는, 중공목재 건조방법에 관한 것이고, 상기 수분탈출방지수단을 부가함으로써 수분의 외부 표면으로 증발되는 것이 억제되고 중공 안쪽으로 수분이 증발되므로 건조결함인 할렬 발생을 억제할 수 있고, 건조속도가 우수한 기술적 효과를 달성할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a method for drying hollow timber which comprises the following steps: molding hollow holes on a large section of a timber; and drying the large section timber with the hollow holes using hot air. The method additionally includes a step of providing a moisture separation preventing unit on the outer surface of the large section timber with the hollow holes. By applying the moisture separation preventing unit, the evaporation of the moisture from the outer surface is controlled, and the moisture is evaporated inside the hollow holes to prevent the generation of cleaving which is a defect generated from drying and improving the drying speed.

PURPOSE: A hollow wood drying method is provided to accelerate a drying operation based on high temperatures by sealing the external side of wood with a hollow structure and suppressing the escaping of moisture through the external surface of wood. CONSTITUTION: A hollow part is shaped in wood of large sized cross sections. The wood with the hollow part is dried based on heating. A moisture escaping preventive unit is arranged on the external surface of the wood. The moisture escaping preventive unit is arranged on the surface or the transversal cross section of the wood. The moisture escaping preventive unit is physical or chemical. The physical moisture escaping preventive unit is cloth, synthetic resin wrap, aluminum wrap, iron, or paper, and the chemical moisture escaping preventive unit is a film forming agent.
