Abstract: PURPOSE: A subcarrier assignment technique for a multi-cell downlink orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) relay network and an interference adjustment technique between cells are provided to increase frequency efficiency and improve transmission reliability. CONSTITUTION: Each cell uses a subcarrier and a relay. Each cell requests the subcarrier limitation to an adjacent cell for adjusting the interference between cells. A central processing device solves a subcarrier limitation request collision problem.
