Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for determining handover between heterogeneous networks using a network state function and a wireless terminal are provided to reduce unnecessary handover by considering the characteristics of the network synthetically. CONSTITUTION: A memory (20) stores application requirement according to the type of a target application. A handover determining part (26) compares the quality of a primary network, which is a network used by the target application currently, with the requirement of the target application according to the type of the target application stored in the memory. The handover determining part determines handover from the primary network to a secondary network, on the basis of the comparison result of the primary network quality and the target application requirement. Abstract: PURPOSE: A mobility and multicast supporting method in a content recognition network structure and system thereof are provided to change a content focused network based on an existed IP(Internet Protocol) network into a gradual content focused network through a content recognition router and a content recognition agent. CONSTITUTION: A first content recognition agent(750) communicates with a first access station(720) and other apparatuses within one or more networks. A portable terminal(710) transmits content request packets including requested content information to a first content recognition agent through the first access station. The first content recognition agent acquires the content through the network connected with other apparatuses. The first content recognition agent transmits the content to the portable terminal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A gradual conversion method for a content focused network and network system thereof are provided to effectively and rapidly transmit packets by using a content focused transmission method. CONSTITUTION: A packet analysis unit acquires content ID(Identity) information and address for a transmission source and destination(S820). In case requested content is stored, a transmission unit rapidly transmits the stored content to the transmission source(S830,S840). In case the requested content is not existed, a content information base management unit updates content information base(S850).
