Abstract: 혈관 및 석회질 자동 추출방법 및 그 추출장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 혈관 및 석회질 자동 추출방법은, 조영된 CT 및 CTA 영상으로부터 뼈의 연결성 정보를 이용하여 하지를 소정개수의 영역으로 구역화하는 단계; 구역화 단계에 의해 구역화된 각각의 영역에 대하여, CT 및 CTA 영상의 거리지도를 이용하여 강체 정합하는 단계; 각각의 영역에 대하여, 밝기값 정보 및 혈관 마스킹을 이용하여 뼈 정보를 제거하고 혈관을 추출하는 단계; 혈관 추적 기반의 후처리 방법을 이용하여 강체 정합의 오차로 발생하는 잡음을 제거하는 단계; 및 추출된 혈관의 추적을 이용하여 석회질을 추출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for automatically extracting a blood vessel and calcification are provided to accurately extract a thin blood vessel without damaging peripheral tissues by removing a complex bone structure on a CTA(Computed Tomography Angiography) image. CONSTITUTION: A partition unit(110) partitions the lower limbs into a preset number of areas by using bone connection information. A matching unit(120) matches the partitioned areas with a rigid body using distance map of CT(Computed Tomography) and CTA. A blood vessel extracting unit(130) extracts the blood vessel by using brightness value information and blood masking. A noise removing unit(140) removes noises due to rigid body matching errors by using a blood vessel based post-processing method. A calcium extracting unit(150) extracts calcium by tracking the extracted blood vessel.
