Abstract: 무선 랜의 처리율을 향상시킬 수 있고, 각 장치의 처리율에 대한 공평성을 보장할 수 있는 IEEE 802.11 무선 랜의 협력 통신 방법이 개시된다. 먼저, 중계 장치가 전송할 데이터가 있는 경우 수신 장치로부터 제공된 협력 통신 결정 정보에 기초하여 협력 통신 여부를 결정하고, 협력 통신을 수행하는 것으로 결정한 경우 적어도 하나의 송신 장치 각각의 신호 강도에 기초하여 중계할 송신 장치를 선택한 후 중계 장치가 선택한 송신 장치로부터 전송된 중계 데이터를 수신하고 수신한 중계 데이터를 수신 장치에 전송한다. 따라서, IEEE 802.11 무선 랜의 전체 처리율을 향상시킬 수 있고, 각 장치의 처리율에 대한 공평성을 보장할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for cooperative communication for an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN is provided to improve the entire processing rate of an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN and ensure the fairness in the processing rate of each device. CONSTITUTION: A method for cooperative communication for an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN comprises the steps of: considering the cooperative communication determination information provided from a reception device in order for a repeater to determine whether or not cooperative communication is necessary if data to be transmitted exist in the repeater; selecting a transmission device based on the signal strength of each transmission device if the repeater determines to perform the cooperative communication; receiving the relay data transmitted from the transmission device selected by the repeater; transmitting the received relay data to a reception device; and considering the cooperative communication determination information provided from the reception device to determine whether or not cooperative communication is necessary if the repeater has the data to be transmitted.
