Abstract: PURPOSE: A blog rank method for effectively searching a blog by using a blog rank algorithm is provided to efficiently search a blog by using a blog rank algorithm which evaluates a blog page. CONSTITUTION: A blog rank algorithm evaluates a fame of a blogger which writes a blogger page, the trackback connectivity of the blog page, and the user reaction of the blog page. The blog rank algorithm evaluates the blog page based on the evaluation result.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A blog recommending method which utilizes metadata is provided to reduce the size of an index by searching for a blog through meta information of a blog. CONSTITUTION: One blog is selected as a query blog in a blog subscription list(S101). One query blog performs modeling through N tags(S102). The model of the blog is expanded to the tag of the blog model and the other tag having high frequency(S103). The similarity is calculated between a query blog and a candidate blog(S104). The ranking of the blog is determined through the number of RSS subscribers(S105).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A relevant tag group generating apparatus and a method thereof are provided to generate a relevant tag group having high reliability by evaluating the correlation among tags based on the characteristics of blogs. CONSTITUTION: A tag combiner(120) generates tag combination from tags, and a correlation calculating unit(130) calculates the correlation between two tags constituting tag combination. A clustering unit(140) clusters the tags based on the correlation. The correlation calculating unit comprises: a page correlation calculating unit which calculates the correlation between the two tags in a page; and a correlation adding unit which calculates the correlation through an adding operation.
