    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for extracting a 3D line using a stereo camera based fuzzy k-means clustering scheme is provided to exactly detect a 3D line in a low complexity. CONSTITUTION: A detection apparatus creates a 3D point group corresponding to one or more 2D straight lines(S110). The detection apparatus creates a plurality of point groups corresponding one or more 2D lines through a grouping process of the 3D point group(S120). The detection apparatus removes a noise point group(S130). The detection apparatus groups the point groups of the same direction into a point group(S140). The detection apparatus estimates a plurality of 3D straight lines(S150).
