    Abstract: PURPOSE: A tracer of quantum dot base for multi-mode imaging of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) is provided to evaluate in vivo EGFR by optical imaging and radiation signal. CONSTITUTION: A tracer of quantum dot base comprises: a polyethylene glycol(PEG) which is connected with compatible substance; a EGF(epidermal growth factor) which is conjugated with polyethylene glycol at one end; and radioactive isotope which is labeled with a bio molecule. The quantum dot is obtained by coating ZnS shell to a Cd/Se core. A method for preparing the tracer comprises: a step of preparing the quantum dot coated with bio molecule; a step of conjugating the polyethylene glycol to one end of the EGF; a step of reacting coated bio molecule; and a step of labeling radioactive isotope.
