The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for selecting a D2D communication mode according to signal interference, in a method for operating a transmission terminal performing the D2D communication by being linked with a receiving terminal comprising the steps of: checking whether the transmission terminal is affiliated to at least one among groups categorized according to a link priority; receiving from the receiving terminal a check result regarding whether the signal interference is received from at least three links within the affiliated group; and selecting a communication mode for communicating with the receiving terminal according to the signal interference.
