Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and system for recognizing smell using correlation coefficient are provided to reduce computational complexity and shorten smell recognition time. CONSTITUTION: A method for recognizing smell using correlation coefficient comprises: a step of selecting T numbers of samples among various smell samples; and a step of calculating correlation coefficient rk in each sensor and calculating average value of correlation coefficient rk each model. A system for recognizing smell comprises: a sensor array having K number of sensors which are able to sense smell; a power supply for maintaining the sensors at isothermal condition; and an MCU(micro controller unit) which performs A/D conversion and data process.

Abstract translation: 目的：提供使用相关系数识别气味的方法和系统，以减少计算复杂度并缩短气味识别时间。 构成：使用相关系数识别气味的方法包括：在各种气味样品中选择T个样品的步骤; 以及计算每个传感器中的相关系数rk并计算每个模型的相关系数rk的平均值的步骤。 用于识别气味的系统包括：具有能够感测气味的K个传感器的传感器阵列; 用于将传感器保持在等温状态的电源; 以及执行A / D转换和数据处理的MCU（微控制器单元）。
