Abstract: Disclosed is a device for authoring augmented reality (AR) content. The device for authoring the AR content comprises: an image matching unit for applying an image matching technique to panoramas collected from a panorama database; a panorama grouping unit for grouping, into a first group, panoramas in which there is an area overlapped with an object on a reference panorama selected by a user and grouping remaining panoramas into a second group; a location estimating unit for estimating a location value of the object on the reference panorama and selecting panoramas including an object corresponding to the object on the reference panorama among panoramas in the second group on the basis of the estimated location value; an authoring position determining unit for determining a panorama in which AR content is to be authored among panoramas in the first group and the panoramas selected by the location estimating unit; and a content authoring unit for authoring the AR content on the panorama determined by the authoring position determining unit.
