Abstract: PURPOSE: An agent containing thymosin beta 4 for suppressing or treating nerve cell injury is provided to reduce nerve cell apoptosis and to suppress inflammation. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing or treating nerve cell injury associated to diseases caused by cerebral blood flow contains thymosin beta 4 protein or nucleic acid encoding the same. The thymosin beta 4 protein or nucleic acid is derived from human. The diseases caused by cerebral blood flow are cerebral ischemia or dementia. A transformed animal model except for human contains the thymosin beta 4 gene. The animal model is a mouse. A method for selecting a marker for diagnosing or treating diseases caused by cerebral blood flow reduction using the animal model which expresses thymosin beta 4 comprises: a step of inducing ischemic brain injury to the animal model and healthy animal; a step of extracting brain tissue from each animal predetermined time later, in which ischemic brain injury is induced; and a step of extracting RNA or protein from the brain tissue.
Abstract translation: 目的:提供含有胸腺素β4用于抑制或治疗神经细胞损伤的药物,以减少神经细胞凋亡并抑制炎症。 构成:用于抑制或治疗由脑血流引起的疾病相关的神经细胞损伤的组合物含有胸腺素β4蛋白或编码其的核酸。 胸腺素β4蛋白或核酸来源于人。 由脑血流引起的疾病是脑缺血或痴呆。 除人之外的转化动物模型含有胸腺素β4基因。 动物模型是一只老鼠。 使用表达胸腺素β4的动物模型来选择用于诊断或治疗由脑血流量减少引起的疾病的标记物的方法包括:对动物模型和健康动物诱导缺血性脑损伤的步骤; 预先规定的时间从每只动物中提取脑组织,诱导缺血性脑损伤的步骤; 以及从脑组织中提取RNA或蛋白质的步骤。
