    Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical element is provided to stably maintain quantum efficiency for long term by having excellent quantum dots dispersity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a microcapsule type-type quantum dot-polymer composite comprises a step of providing a base substrate; and a step of providing a polymer dispersion in which microcapsule type quantum dot-polymer composites are dispersed onto one side of the bas substrate. In the microcapsule type quantum dot-polymer composite, quantum dots capped by a capping layer are dispersed into a polymer matrix including a polymer with a polar functional group in a side chain. An optical component (100) includes a base substrate (50); and an optical conversion layer (60) which is arranged on one side of the base substrate and includes the microcapsule type quantum dot-polymer composite.
