    Abstract: PURPOSE: An emitter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve adhesive force by mixing carbon nanotubes of different diameter and to improve durability of an emitter tip at the high voltage. CONSTITUTION: A carbon nano tube layer for emission is formed in a membrane including a plurality of pores. The carbon nano tube layer for emission is formed by filtering a carbon nanotube solution for emission in a vacuum(S120). A carbon nano tube layer for support is formed by filtering a carbon nanotube solution for support in the vacuum to the membrane in which the carbon nano tube layer for emission is formed(S140). The membrane is eliminated from the carbon nano tube layer for emission and the carbon nano tube layer for support(S150). The diameter of the carbon nano tube layer for emission and the carbon nano tube layer for support is different.
