Abstract: PURPOSE: A smart ventilation system and a method for controlling smart ventilation are provided to control a ventilation unit by calculating the volume of carbon dioxide in an indoor space. CONSTITUTION: A smart ventilation system(100) comprises an indoor air sensor(11), a person in room sensor(12), a contaminated gas information generator(13), and a ventilation control part(14). The indoor air sensor measures the contamination of indoor air by using a sensor(40). The person in a room sensor use the detection sensor installed in the exit of the indoor space. The contaminated gas information generator calculates the volume of carbon dioxide based on the person in a room. The ventilation control part controls the ventilation unit installed in an indoor space.
