Abstract: A dye-sensitized solar cell including a composite separator and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. The dye-sensitized solar cell including the composite separator of the present invention comprises; a light electrode which arrays an oxide layer in which a light sensitive dye is absorbed; a counter electrode which is faced with the light electrode; a first porous polymer layer of a gel type which includes an electrolyte and the composite separator between the light electrode and the counter electrode; a second porous polymer layer of a gel type; and a porous supporting layer of a solid state which is arranged between the first and second polymer layers. Therefore, the present invention improves light conversion efficiency and realizes long-term stability by improving the lifespan of an electron. The present invention improves an interface contact characteristic between a separator and a light electrode or a counter electrode and secures mechanical stability and high ion conductivity. Also, the present invention uses a traditional fabricating process of a dye-sensitized solar cell which applies a liquid electrolyte without the adoption of a separate process, thereby having an economical advantage on process.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A separator for a lithium secondary battery has an interconnected porous network connected to each other and has excellent thermal stability and electrolyte-wettability while having a uniform porous structure. CONSTITUTION: In a separator (100), a porous polymer having an interconnected porous network connected by an etching pores-deriving material (20) with an average particle diameter of 0.001-10 um, is introduced to a porous unwoven fabric (12) with pores (40) with average particle diameter of 0.001-100 um. A manufacturing method of the separator comprises a step of providing the porous unwoven fabric; a step of preparing a coating solution by dispersing and mixing the pores-deriving material and a polymer in a solvent to prepare a coating solution; a step of coating the porous unwoven fabric with the coating solution; a step of removing the pores-deriving material from the coated porous unwoven fabric by an etchant; and a step of drying the porous unwoven fabric in which the pores-removing material is removed.
